Dionisio
Point Provincial Park on Galiano Island borders Porlier Pass
and the Strait of Georgia, and features a sandy beach and tidal
lagoon. Trails extend through the old growth forest to pocket beaches
fronting Porlier Pass.
One forest walk winds out to a day-use only area along an isthmus
to Dionisio Point, near Coon Bay. Tent camping is allowed at the
designated walk-in campsites.
From the Sturdies
Bay ferry dock on Galiano Island,
stay on Sturdies Bay Road for 2.7 km to the junction with Georgeson
Bay Road, near the Hummingbird Inn. Turn right onto Porlier Pass
Road and drive another 19 km to Cook Road, near the Bodega Resort.
Turn right and follow the signs for about 5 km to the park.
